Evolon Pansies for a Pop of Colour

Now that the garden centres are bursting with summer flowers, we felt inspired to try our hand at making some simple pansies.

We chose Evolon for this project as it has a slightly velvety/suede like texture and absorbs colour very well. All we needed was Evolon, some Crayola fibre pens and a little drop of paint.

One of the benefits of using Evolon is that is soaks up the ink so well that it penetrates to the reverse of the fabric – so there’s no need to colour both sides. However, please remember to protect your working surface to avoid staining.

We soon found we were making pansies in all sorts of colour combinations!

A row of five pansies and three set of leaves against a dark blue background. All the pansies have different colour combinations.

If you would like more information about this, or any of our other projects, please do not hesitate to get in touch – we’d love to hear from you!
