World Cup Semi-Final – Football Fever!

With only hours to go before England play in the Semi-Final, the nation is poised in readiness to cheer and support Gareth Southgate and his team . . .

Three England flags made from Evolon with strips of red dyed Evolon to form the St George cross.

England flags made out of Evolon

Amid the growing excitement, an increasing number of England flags can be seen fluttering from car windows and draped across walls as the country unites to rally behind the boys.

Here at Spunart we made a few flags, which were really easy to put together using Evolon. All we had to do was cut some rectangular shapes and then decorate with strips of Evolon (which we coloured with red dye) to form the St. George’s cross, which can either be sewn or glued into position.

Fingers crossed for tonight!!!

(For anyone who is unfamiliar with Evolon, it is a white fabric, which has a texture similar to very fine suede, yet is extremely strong and does not tear or fray. We are always happy to send samples on request, just give us a call on 01332 554610 or email us at sales@spunart.co.uk and we’ll send you a piece in the post).
