These delightful (and very impressive!) orbs were created by Carolyn Sinclair. She was inspired to make them after seeing a tutorial on how to make paper versions on a site called ‘Creative in Chicago‘. The idea of turning a flat object into a 3-dimensional structure really appealed to her and, as a regular write for Bernina, they became her chosen project for the 15th December issue of Bernina’s blog. It’s The BIG DAY this Saturday and everyone can join in with the celebrations. Here at Spunart we’re putting the flags out with some eye-catching bunting made from Evolon. As Evolon is white, we only had to colour the blue and red triangles, before sewing them on to a string of blue ribbon. As Evolon does not fray, the individual pieces keep their neat and tidy appearance, with no loose threads to worry about or spoil the effect. We hope Harry and Meghan enjoy their wedding day and wish them every future happiness.
